Anyone tired of threading, waxing or daily shaving on the face, including clients with darker or coarser hair on the chin and jawline.
What to expect
Your first visit is a free consultation and patch test. We check your skin type and hair colour, choose between our diode and Nd:YAG lasers, and test a small patch so we can see how your skin responds.
On treatment day, the cooled handpiece moves over the area in quick pulses. Most clients describe a warm flick, and the session is over in 20–30 minutes. Treated hairs shed over the next two to three weeks.
Before & after each session
- Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment.
- No waxing, plucking, threading or hair-removal creams for four weeks before or during your course.
- Avoid sun, sunbeds and fake tan for two weeks before each session.
- Afterwards, skip heat (hot baths, saunas, the gym) for 24–48 hours and wear SPF 30+ every day.
Full face questions
Can you treat just my upper lip or chin?
Yes. Smaller facial areas can be treated on their own. Ask at your free consultation and we'll price it for you. The full-face course is the best value if you treat more than one area.
Will laser make facial hair grow back thicker?
No. Laser targets the follicle and reduces regrowth over the course. It doesn't stimulate new or thicker hair. Very fine, light vellus hair doesn't respond well, and we'll tell you if that applies to you.
Is there any downtime?
Most clients go straight back to work. You may see mild redness for a few hours. Skip make-up for 24 hours and wear SPF every day during your course.
