What to expect
Your first visit is a free consultation and patch test. We check your skin type and hair colour, choose between our diode and Nd:YAG lasers, and test a small patch so we can see how your skin responds.
On treatment day, the cooled handpiece moves over the area in quick pulses. Most clients describe a warm flick, and the session is over in 10–15 minutes. Treated hairs shed over the next two to three weeks.
Before & after each session
- Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment.
- No waxing, plucking, threading or hair-removal creams for four weeks before or during your course.
- Avoid sun, sunbeds and fake tan for two weeks before each session.
- Afterwards, skip heat (hot baths, saunas, the gym) for 24–48 hours and wear SPF 30+ every day.
Underarms questions
Can I wear deodorant after treatment?
Leave it off for 24 hours after each session, then use it as normal. Come to your appointment without deodorant on.
How quickly will I see a difference?
Most clients notice slower, patchier regrowth after the first two or three sessions. The full course of six is what gives long-term reduction.
Does it help with ingrown hairs?
Usually, yes. Fewer, finer hairs and no daily shaving mean ingrown hairs and razor bumps tend to settle down during the course.
